I have decided to start yet another blog. Call me crazy. I have three already, but, well, this one’s different!
I pay the most attention to my “Visualizing Science” blog, in which I yammer on about the use of visuals in communicating science. My Yahoo 360° blog has a more personal slant, dealing mostly with travel and such, as well as brief forays into film and music. And then there’s my long-neglected Tristram Shandy blog, which had, shall we say, slightly too narrow a focus (although I’ve been thinking of rounding it out, just to gain a bit of closure).
So what’s with adding yet another to the list? Fourth time the charm? Perhaps.
But really, I just want an outlet for my ramblings about books. I read incessantly, so it only makes sense to capture a few of my thoughts about the various and sundry tomes I lug about in my briefcase and read on Muni. (Plus, I wanted to play with hosting the blog on my own site, rather than using Blogspot or LiveJournal.) So… Here goes! Wish me luck.
